Here comes my tommorow (after 3 days :)) ) with an inspiring poem.....I know many won't understand it but....

lehron se dar kar nauka paar nahi hoti
himmat karne walon ki haar nahi hoti....
nanhi chinti jab dana lekar chalti hai
chadti deewaron par sau baar fisalti hai
mann ka vishwas ragon mein sahas banta hai
chad kar girna, gir kar chadna na akharta hai
akhir uski mehnat bekar nahi hoti
koshish karne waalon ki haar nahi hoti....
dubkiyan sindu mein gota khor lagata hai
ja ja kar khali haath laut aata hai
milte na sehej hi moti pani mein
behta duna utsah issi heiraani mein
mutthi uski khali har baar nahi hoti
himmat karne walon ki haar nahi hoti....
asaflta ek chunati hai sweekar karo
kya kami reh gayi dekho aur sudhaar karo
jab tak na safal ho neend chain ki tyago tum
sangharshon ka maidaan chhod mat bhago tum
kuch kiye bina hi jai jai kaar nahi hoti

This poem is written by famous hindi poet - SuryaKant Tripati Nirala. This poem was used by many as anthems.
It means that a person GOTAKHOR goes down ...deep in the water of sea(i. e. Sindhu) for perls. Every time he cant get pearls, but not everytime he is empty.
His efforts do give him pearls....

लहरों से डरकर नौका पार नहीं होती
हिम्मत करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।
नन्ही चींटी जब दाना लेकर चलती है,
चढ़ती दीवारों पर सौ बार फिसलती है,
मन का विश्वास रगों में साहस भरता है,
चढ़कर गिरना,गिरकर चढ़ना न अखरता है,
आखिर उसकी मेहनत बेकार नहीं होती ,
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।
डुबकियां सिंधु में गोताखोर लगाता है,
जा-जाकर खाली हाथ लौट आता है,
मिलते न सहेज के मोती पानी में,
बहता दूना उत्साह इसी हैरानी में,
मुठ्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नहीं होती,
हिम्मत करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।
असफलता एक चुनौती है स्वीकार करो,
क्या कमी रह गयी,देखो और सुधार करो,
जब तक न सफल हो नींद चैन को त्यागो तुम,
संघर्षों का मैदान छोड़ मत भागो तुम,
कुछ किये बिना ही जय-जयकार नहीं होती,

This poem is also used in Hindi Movie "maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara", directed by Jahnu Barua, with lead characters played superbly by Anupam Kher and Urmila Matondkar. It is a gripping tail of a family's struggle to treat the delusional dementia of their old father. This poem runs through the movie and is very inspirational.
Maine Gandhi ko Nahin Mara is one of my very favorite movies -- in any language. And I love this poem -- but my Hindi isn't nearly good enough to translate the whole thing. I'm hoping Vivek's comment contains the whole thing becuase it will make it way easier to look up the words I don't know, but even then I'm not sure I'll be able to translate the meaning along with the words. If anybody knows where I can find an English translation, I'd love to see it. Because even subtitles couldn't dull the beauty of this poem. (The subtitles in MGKNM weren't remotely as bad as some I've seen.)
